If it's all aluminum, take it to the local scrap yard; around here at the moment it would be roughly $0.35 a pound, which helps out the rehab fund and/or the beer fund. :)If you lose the awning in back, you might consider making a small awning or porch roof - like 4 feet square - and putting it right over that back door.

Two of the radiators being removed from my rehab had over twenty sections and were upstairs - the effort needed to move that intact is just not practical; those will be broken up and at that point they are worth about $0.10 a pound as scrap metal.

Or, put the "to be shredded" stuff in bags and either shred it later, or take it to a place that does shredding for offices and businesses.If you think you have a large amount (probably more than a few hundred pounds) of scrap metal in the garages and shops, and if there is a good paved driveway available, you might ask local scrap yards about getting a container delivered.

This will save you time and keep you from having to pound the ends in on each piece, which sometimes damages the product.My other favorite trick depending on the product, is when you come to the last row or in a tight spot when you do not have the space to start the piece on an angle and snap it in.
