My suggestion would be to investigate short-term rentals and understand the legalities here in Chicago...which I believe will push you away from trying to start there.Whether you do long-term or short-term - FOCUS and clarity on what you are looking for is the key to finding a needle in the haystack which is what I'd say is what you are doing in the current market today.

For clarity, I’ll be in Kalispell. 

There are still plenty of operations running without current licensing so that's a space we are avoiding until we have more clarity.

I would like to stay active but want a brokerage that is more economical.For added clarity - I plan on doing zero deals, as I have a realtor we know and trust.
