The things that are occurring right now such as Google, Apple, Oracle are just a continuation of many smart educated folks moving here along with an amazing university providing the workforce for those tech giants and other industries in the city that are flourishing.

But then again you have upkeep on that giant workshop in the back that really isn't bringing in any income.Ya so just too much work for me but I'm lazy.

Although today, the most common statements are "I just sold my home and made this giant 6 figure pile of cash, I need to rent by closing, and I am going to wait for "the collapse" and buy again".

Nah, the Dems did that for 8 years during the W presidency...and look where it got us...Terrorism, Patriot Act, $1T War, 5000 soldier casualties, "Free Speech Zones", Dick Cheney, Carl Rove, etc...If that's what the Dems giving up got us, I say they should keep on fighting!!!

What a giant WIN for the insurance companies!

California is a HUGE state with a very long coastline, and various priced markets along the coast that have beautiful scenery, from the giant Redwoods and ocean with rock outcroppings, and lush greenery (site of Jurassic Park movies)  of the northern coastal areas of Humboldt and Del Norte counties, down to San Diego, etc.
