There's no statutory holding period or laundry list to demonstrate intent but written correspondence, past history, actual length of hold, the method of reporting on your tax returns all go to paid the picture of your intent.

Any wages coming from a pass-through entity would show the corresponding remaining profit on the 1040, so it would only increase payroll without simplifying anything.  

Ryan I think you would relate to this areas better .. like Portland Ave and Pine st these are not really good but if you looking to pick up a buy and hold with less money this is where to pick them up .So Ian trying to see how I can even get correspondence with the owners or title holders .. any ideas would help .

I visited there recently and was surprised how low house prices were, but they correspond to the rents down there which were also fairly low compared to the more expensive markets you and I might be used to.  

Servicers are right to demand a proper servicing file including payment history, advance accounting and borrower correspondance along with servicing notes.
