The theme I'm seeing from landlords like Kris, Jim and Jill (and I) is... let my stats do the talking.

@Canneton Howard It seems like rough multi-family properties have become a bit of a theme in the Springs lately.

Having parking, a bit quiter area thats a short drive to beaches/restuaraunts/down town where guests can head to have fun.Also one thing we really excelled at was having a themed style with furnishing in our other STR.

Its NOT the Guru's as Bill states yes some may do it.. but BP reinforces it with all these peoples different opinions from different states.And it also goes to the underlying theme Of BP  in that you don't really need to pay for any advice you can get it all right here for free...

Having several out-of-wedlock children by several different men comes to mind and is a very common theme among the poor.

The common theme was they "don't get involved" in that sort of thing.

Keep colour neutral (beige, white or grey to continue the theme of the rest of the house - which should also be all in the same colour family).

@Trent FisherIn a lot of ways Montana is really diverse, but one common theme is low population density.  

No course info, but I learned a lot from the library, and after you scan through 20 or so different books on the subject, you definitely learn the major themes running through them, and usually pick up a great tip or two from each one.
