Are there any environmental issues on the property? 

I only discovered BP a few weeks ago.When it comes to the experts, that's great to know, but I do a lot of conscious work in my life to NEVER believe arguments from authority unless the underlying logic makes sense to me. 

That said, I'm consciously walking away from the best appreciation upside potential.  

@Linda S. its not about a pity party, its about making a conscious decision to create more wealth for people who own assets and tolerating the fact that this will make it much more difficult for people with no assets to create wealth for themselves. 

Yes, we live here in Vegas and we are conscious that we are making a "sacrifice" to get further in our future.

A lot of people - a whole lot - that come to this are are price conscious, especially since they tend to spend most of the day gone at the parks and don't really use the home much other than eating breakfast and sleeping (at least my guests).

I want to provide financial stability for myself and my partner and our children and I want to make sure me and mine are protected (financial abuse occurred during my marriage and has made me conscious of the need to protect myself).

- Be ready for some self-consciousness when telling other non-investors, family, neighbors, and friends. 

Conscious of the debt, all the time.

Before a project even gets off the ground you're going to have a ton of "soft" costs including environmental consultants like me.
