There are several texas who to me are not people I would want to do business with who took millions from investors and never returned it and still is out there raising $ and people are still giving him money for education and investing which is not gonna end well for them. 

I formed a partnership with my favorite people (my parents and my two adult children).

If you're a new investor, it can be close to impossible to get people to back you.

but want to have my best opportunity at building business credit from the start and I have been told by a few people that a more generic name is better..... a name that isn't specifically risky, like real estate investing.  

I just want to hear from knowledge people about the law.

Often people making the mistake of choosing the right time to get buy a home.

People with good incomes have historically done well in either the market or real estate over the long term.For myself I cannot stomach the gyrations in the stock market so for me RE is less risky but I am not living entirely off it either. 

But I feel I see some people grow rather rapidly. wasn't sure if they were using some sort of other method to get ahead. 

You will find a group of like-minded people to share information with and learn from. 

Hopefully people smarter than me can chime in here for more creative ways to get rehab money, perhaps using the house as collateral in second position if possible.That's a tough one if you want to keep it.
