It's very frustrating that a bank can mistakenly put a record on your credit report, agree that it's not your account, yet can't just remove it immediately.

Someone can correct me if I'm mistaken, but if you have the proper entity setup within your flip, you can realize a good bit of tax relief.The play is to do the flip within a LLC, pay yourself a salary (which is subject to the taxes you mentioned above), but then the rest can be released as a distribution or dividend which is at a different (lower) tax rate.
