I’m usually paid up and “made whole”the first year , If I explain it to the tenant buyer when I deed it over I’d be sure they understood and signed a legal document that they understood the title is clouded ..heck they don’t really care either lol that is outside their context ,they plan to live and die in the building and it allows them to get out of the renters cycle and be an owner .

Now if you can get QC deeds from the previous owner/s and a release from the mortgage company if there was a mortgage then you remove the cloud from the deed.
