It is available with most if not all US brokerages, but the rates vary greatly.We have partners who are foreign investors.

In other words even if an investment was a "rip off" there were usually signs that indicated such (warning flags) at the time the investment was in the offering stage.  

This caused a historically unique opportunity for investors - they could buy Class A properties and immediately cashflow when renting them out.This couldn't last forever, and it didn't, as excited new investors drove up prices.

There are likely some that have a lot of investors.

I work with many investors from Bigger Pockets in the Atlanta market and have access to both on and off market properties.
