Last year I re-read Rich Dad Poor Dad, and I've immersed myself in learning more about real estate investing ever since. 

He is currently protesting a rent increase, and travelled from NY to FL to personally harass my family and I last week.

My last one I got six bids.

And technology aside, this business hasn't changed much in the last 20 years.

You'll just add to your losses and still have the same mess to clean up.The process for abandoned property is to give written notice to the tenant at their last known address (your rental).

Ask when they last requested a rent increase, what the request was and whether or not it was accepted.
