We want the root cause of the problem addressed and the problem fixed for good but we are not sure our property management company can manage this repair and/or stick us with unnecessary costs and/or no guarantee of reoccurence.  

I don't think its seminars and tv shows that is a byproduct of the root cause, confidence in the market.

If nothing else, it would show the tenant you are taking their concerns seriously.I would also do a search on the property history;   it's very possible the tenants did this as well, and uncovered something disturbing about the house that is the root of this.

It's made clear to me that I need to look further into the situation and find out the root cause. 

Going back to my Marine Corps roots, I spoke with an old marine buddy of mine who suggested scoping out his (and my former) neck of the woods - Onslow County, Camp Lejeune, Stone Bay, Swansboro, Hubert, Richlands, Surf City, Topsail and the southern Outer Banks.

Hello All,I have been in commercial investments on the corporate side for 2.5+ years and am now looking to branch out from my medical office building roots and do some multi-family, mixed-use value-add property investments in Chicago. 

Since you are talking about buying a SFR to live in, it is apparent that you want to put roots down in the BA.
