I do have a couple of other options that are not attractive and would be "last resort" kinds of plays that I really don't want to entertain. 

For instance, the Poconos have remained a popular option because of its year-round tourism draw, with skiing and lodging in the winter, hiking in the fall, and camping around lakes in the summer.As others have said, going into markets with one draw is risky.

I am in for 175 and while I do have contingencies for the inspection period that would allow me to terminate the agreement, that really is my last resort.

This is because I realized that it's mostly about cheap all-inclusive resorts you can't compete against and all short-term renters I met across the country hated Punta Cana for that very same reason.
