We are scrambling to get more vacant apartments for all the applicants.  

Long story short, my longtime tax preparer was not available to do my taxes for 2019 and I had to scramble and do them myself and get them filed quickly. 

In the meantime, my buyers were forced to scramble to figure out their own housing.So my advice is to allow a post-sale occupancy only as a last resort. 

I had to scramble to get it fixed.

A few things happened...1) The bubble burst. 2) My money partners weren't used to that market's prices and got cold feet, then went away. 3) As a result, I lost my source of income and had to scramble, putting real estate aside until further notice.Fast forward 10 years. 

(I know USDA offers now down payment loans but those are on homes in rural areas, so essentially I would scramble for renters, and two I would have a hard time selling the property)? 

Shaun, the buyer only found this out 9 days before closing... a solid 4 weeks into the process  They are scrambling now to find a conventional mortgage.

It keeps you in the game--not scrambling for the exit...3) Fix it right (the first time).
