Definitely staying there for 2 years and rolling those gains into the next property. 

The last update I received was that home completion dates were pushed back to December 2022. 

If JPMorgan still thinks it is a fraud why would they be pushing their clients into trading it at all? 

Then just roll into your next one. 

@Collin H. yes this is in a residential neighborhoodI will definitely try and push back to the city and see if they will honor their previous issuance of the permit without having to go down the path with the Board.If they say no we'll see what the Board says.

Maybe it isn't worth it, but you should consider the numbers and decide...that could push you towards purchasing another rental. - You mentioned paying down/off a rental and needing to consider the tax implication.

I have been rolling those kind of questions around in my mind and with my wife and I think I’d like to go as deep as possible but I have a lot to learn! 

Obviously every situation is unique it's on you to check with your intermediary and lender to determine what price range would be realistic to start looking for deals in before it closes so you are ready to roll. 

Yes I have known it to work because the owner is not a push over, enforces policy and can make it run good......however, do you have the right personality to do this, AND if you move out can you continue to have the house run smoothly with no one in charge.  

The entry level point for STR's has risen to the $4-500k range with many now pushing $750-850-$1M+ and I would expect that to continue to increase.
