Politicians are not helping they are desperate for votes and there are many more tenants than landlords. 

Those which remain, just adjust their maintenance expenditures which leaves the very same Tenants which originally, wanted rent control wondering why their rent remains high and their rental quality is horrible... an example of LL's and investors pivoting and moving faster than politicians ever can. 

We are all going through hell here in North Jersey / NYC metro, so why are these politicians pushing their horrible agenda on the back of small landlords.

No need to pass the bill to see whats in it as a certain politician said.This "relief" was written by a bank lobbyist, I can guarantee it. 

Once people start going hungry, once people can't afford clothing, once retirement funds lose 80% of their value, it may become politically possible for politicians to change their position and support a return to economic activity despite an increase in death counts.  

Both federal and state politicians continue to stick their fingers in our business with various regulations.

Now who do you think makes donations to the politicians , wholesalers or licensed agents?

Only rent to politicians .

Real Estate Agent from BaltimoreI hope it will turn for the better, I own many houses and commercial buildings, in  Baltimore, There is no leadership here, these politicians condone not paying rent, they will not let you legally evict tenants for non-payment or will they let you evict squatters, smoking pot on the streets is OK according to AG, can't open my Nightclub or other walk in businesses.I have always been positive and enthusiastic about this town and investing, but the liberals in charge have beaten me down, never felt so negative!

I don't think this is going away anytime soon-expect more extensions and commandeering by politicians high on OPM.
