@Grace Ng, it still may not be a loss, so long as you now use the information and experience that you have GAINED to motivate you into taking the action necessary to bring you back to even keel and POSITIVE momentum financially.Expensive education can still get you to the same RICH destination as right-priced education - just takes a bit longer to recoup the initial outlay.

@Mark HallWe've rolled our own building monitoring system, leverage the Internet of Things (IoT) which allows us to:monitor & control HVAC (thermostats, humidistats, etc);monitor moisture sensors (under basement subfloors, in catch pans under water heater storage tanks, laundry units, dishwashers);monitor motion sensors (attic hatches and other off-limits sections of the properties)remotely mange and control door locks (no going to the property at 03:00 for tenants who have locked themselves out; service technicians can be given one-time access codes)We are always playing with new ideas and adding new capabilities.

However, if you go in via a referral then it's not just your property they are connecting to your name it's also the person who referred you to properties they are connecting to your name (assuming that person has their property manged by the same company).
