Someone painted FU on our property (not a tenant) just wondering if maybe a "fake" security camera might be a good option or a sign saying the property is under surveillance?

I'd just like to throw it out there that, while I don't have a lot of knowledge in the real estate sector, I do have a nice camera and a decent eye for photography.

I also use Evernote which has a great document capture camera to keep an archive of all my receipts.

Plumber is trying to sell me on checking condition of sewer line with cameras first ($400).

I can tell when people arrive because they adjust the thermostats once they arrive.I will be installing a outdoor security camera in the near future.

There are openings in the upper west exterior walls where electrical conduit was removed.10.The stucco in these areas has not been repaired to prevent moisture penetration and deterioration.11.The front unit has issues flushing the toilet, which was confirmed with a tenant, so camera scoping of the drain pipes was performed that revealed damages and blockages in the pipes.12.Deferred maintenance on multiple items: cracks around windows and pipes, gas pipes are not supported, pilot lights in heater units were not lit, a water heater unit has no ventilation.I hired a plumber to scope the pipes (please see his report in the invoice attached and photos); a roofing company was hired to assess the damage to the roof above the middle unit only (please see proposed work sheet); a general contractor has inspected the settlement of the wall in the second unit due to the damaged frame.

Take a witness and a camera to document everything.

You will hopefully have a camera run in the sewers to help mitigate that risk, but its only one example.  

I want to get my license to learn about the industry and understand what is going on when my partner and I talk to realtors (currently I am a nanny with a master's in counseling psychology wanting to get into real estate investing....it's a bit of an odd switch).
