:@Minh LeIt must be a left coast thing, you sound a lot like landlords I know in Vancouver ... just keep raising rents $50 - $100 each year in perpetuity.A $50/year rent increase is wonderful - something most of us on the other coast might only see a couple of years per decade - but it's only feasible so long as the underlaying economy and family income continue to increase at a similar rate, otherwise you will eventually price yourself into the high-end of the market and hit your own ceiling.In my area, my property taxes went up on one property by more than 1K in just one year.
