My fiance and I are looking to make our first investment deal. we have been reading books and doing all our ground work to learn as much as we can.​Our only bump in the road is we just moved from New York to San Antonio, Texas and we are not too familiar with the best strategy to start with.

He had to trust me to take care of boots on the ground work here to help him.

I am not sure if this is a good idea or not as we are new and still laying out the ground work within this career field.

We have setup a team of people we trust to do the groundwork of closing deals as we continue to develop our business strategy from California where we play soccer.We will be visiting Kansas City from Nov. 29- Dec. 1 to research the area along with setting up meetings with potential trustworthy broker's/wholesalers to aid us in finding properties.I look forward to hearing back from anyone interested in working with us or if anyone has any recommendations with trustworthy brokers/wholesalers they have worked with in the Kansas City area.I really appreciate your responses.Marc

What looks like a dilapidated shack to the average person, may look like the groundwork for a three-story apartment building to an investor—if they have vision.

Obviously, I know there is no singular answer better than the next, but I'd really like to know so that I can lay the groundwork for what steps to take next in pursuit of my goals while minimizing time 'wasted' during this learning curve.Thanks in advance! 

So, by that logic, I would say you are entitled to 10% of the 20% they are collecting in Germany, which is probably mostly automated to them anyway and you are stuck doing all the ground work.

I've heard of building an entity, doing ground works under the entity and selling the entity as a whole (with property and strong articles).

Just seems better to lay the ground work now and build it once.
