when your dealing with old houses and you open up a wall and you get a surprise that's what causes.. delays and in some markets.. ( like they are talking Chicago inspections are ridiculous) and cause major delays.. fluff and buff well that's all about just having a good little team that can do paint flooring and other minor stuff but even then unless you control them the contractors tend to take on more work than they can handle and one day they are not there working.. and that adds time.

You just drop fill, might take a few applications depending on how big the crack is and then use a razor with clear tape on two sides with a space in between to level out the surface, sand level with various grits up to 2000 or higher and buff it out with rubbing compound and polish to get it back to a gloss shine.

Tim Breems Tim I never considered gently used (or refurbished) appliances but I just looked on Craigslist and like you said I can probably get my whole set for $1000 or so (maybe $1300-1400 with the washer and dryer).
