Hi @Stephen Dickey,In theory the purpose of the appraisal makes no difference.In practice, cash out refinance appraisals done within a year or two of purchase are the most conservative of all.In addition to the tips already covered:If a deal only makes sense if you hit your dream/fantasy "should appraise for" number six months and 1 day after purchase, that means the deal doesn't make sense.
