I learned that XYZ was not true and they also told me the following false information to get me to invest.

Obviously the plan was to raise new money to pay old money...The line "The false statements allegedly included misrepresenting Kapoor’s compensation; his cash contribution to the capitalization of Location Ventures" is also scary.

It's a false sense of security because if the right attorney came along, not only would your insurance be maxed out, but they could still take property and/or income.

Yes, this^^^^ I still recall them pulling my Superhost status for over 6 months after they falsely claimed that I cancelled a guest.

I check their profile and they don’t even have many reviews as my one property 😂A lot of these books anYouTube videos from Guru are giving a false idea to folks.

If you end up getting good tenants quickly and if there are no repairs, you may be lulled into  false sense of security. 

Don't want to give out false information but I am in a similar situation right now and am curious how it is going to work in the coming years.
