@Ally Gao each Justice of the Peace in Brazos County has unique filing requirements for evictions.

But it does give someone peace of mind that the contractor is no criminal, credit worthy, insured, and experienced.  

I am in the process with a lawyer, trying to see what justice can be done.

Hopefully we can make the fraudsters of the area a little less brave and maybe get some justice for some others. 

I have talked through all this with another student and he feels like what they are doing could be considered criminal and is talking to a friend of his at the FBI.

But he is abusive and a criminal.

Ended up pressing charges for breaking/entering, obtaining property under false pretense, fraud, and criminal trespass.

Also dealing drugs and other criminal behavior.

The screening includes an Experian credit report, national criminal search, sex offender search and eviction search.  

For example, I mention that every adult must pay a $30 application fee, pass my credit/criminal background, make a combined income of 3x the rent, and whether or not the property accepts pets.
