It is an amazing city with great people and plenty of opportunities in the real estate space.

What market/city are you in and what type of properties are you looking to add to your portfolio?

Examples:44109 (median home price went from roughly 50k to 125k in 8 years)https://www.zillow.com/home-values/77009/cleveland-oh-44109/ 44102 (median home price went from roughly 30k to 120k in 8 years)https://www.zillow.com/home-values/77002/cleveland-oh-44102/ 44106 (median home price went from roughly 100k to 200k in 8 years)https://www.zillow.com/home-values/77006/cleveland-oh-44106/ It has the highest rents on average in all of Ohio for major cities and the median home value is not even in the top 3.

I know when it comes to many cities there are long permit processes and also there are specific air laws that go into each city.I would love to hear a story that goes over an experience pertaining to developing/rehabbing a property in the DC area. 

I think a lot of the midwest cities will capitalize on that in the coming years with the housing affordability issues the country as a whole has been having.

LOL   That is exactly what I would expect from the Detroit City Government.If you go there, they are likely going to say you first need a license from a different office on the other side of town and when you drive there, they will say you need an appointment with them, but they only have appointments the third Thursday of each month.  

The biggest hazard is generally the insulation falling off and overheating and setting something on fire, or arcing because of insulation gone and having the same issue.

Right now, I include a few essentials (bottled water and some snacks), but I want to make it more thoughtful and help set the tone for a great stay.For those of you who offer a welcome basket, what items have you found to be the biggest hit with guests?

And finally regarding the interest, yes doing these 10 yrs-loan the biggest goal was save some money from the interest.
