If you had to hire an attorney on your own to advise you on this stuff, that makes the self-managing rather expensive. 

They will match effort for effort jumping on seller calls and helping you close deals, walk you through contracts, make connections to attorneys, etc.  

If you talked to attorneys, why aren't you hiring them and following their advice? 

@Alba Cheung if this attorney doesn't complete the eviction look at the dockets and see what attorneys commonly handle evictions in you area.

(Probably same in attorney state but I have no experience there.)it will make inspection problematic.

If you're going to do it alone, make sure you your due diligence: estoppels, inspection, review, consult with a local attorney familiar with the local regulations, etc. and good luck.

@Victor YangWhy are you not reaching out to a NC real estate attorney to draw up a document that spells out the agreement that you are looking to do with the tenant?

I have filled a complaint against him with the Better Business Bureau and the NJ State Attorney General. 

. $300sqft to build at least.If you have any sort of mortgage on the property you will need an attorney to handle the mountain of paperwork the bank will give you for a lien release. 10k+, also probably some nightmare terms to have to build and sell immediately and god knows what.At this point a year has passed and you have spent at least $60,000 cash, you're about to break ground on a structure that will cost you at the very least $400,000 to build, you are still 1 year away from cashing out because you have to now build a house.

Do you know of any good syndication attorney that could help us handle this?
