And especially at this time in your life, on that small of a purchase and if you plan to put 10% down with intentions of renting the property down the road.Save that "Silver Bullet" for the big house!

I see that you are in Eagle Mountain, i don't know this market, you may want to connect with your local REIA to see what local investors are doing. 

I would love to see the tenant owning at least one of the properties - and the more the better - that's almost a silver bullet.

I moved to Milford six weeks ago, but have been watching the real estate market for the last year here--my impression is that if you want to be just a few houses from the beach you're probably looking at flood insurance--at least over at the east end of town (Walnut Beach area or Silver Sands area).

Does anyone have any recommendations for a FHA mortgage lender or bank for a property in Silver Spring, MD?
