It’s 200 bucks it’s not an amount of cash I’ll even notice when it leaves my account, and if all I get from it is some peace of mind it’s probably worth it. 

In most cases, I think if a tenant wants to leave let them go in peace and find another tenant.

That's kind of hard to stomach, and that in itself could be the cost of another SFH in my area.I also just despise paying high interest in general, so admittedly part of my reason for considering paying down the new mortgage is for peace of mind.
