@Kai Sato-FranksNot sure if it’s worth taking such advice blindly and at face value.With all due respect, the only guys who get rich in this episode are “investment gurus” like Ramsey or Kiyosaki etc are the gurus themselves.

And Generations were brainwashed into this blind trust, as traders honed there craft on how to maximize what they do, TRADING, to profit as maximally as possible, on this ignorant-$. 

Since I will actually be sending these to the court house steps for auction as the lien holder as opposed to showing up and blind bidding, my question is, if someone out bids me (while trying to buy them from myself) and goes crazy high for the property what happens then?

You the "rich big shot investor" will get branded as taking advantage of the poor guy who's now blind or missing an arm and can't feed his family. 

Good proximity to NYC, a lot to do, and still affordable, and very few STR regulations in the area.You are basically flying blind right now if you are ready to take listings from the first post.

Go over it slowly, highlight the really important parts  and be very clear with expectations and possible consequences.Second-  Do  a walk through video  (3-5 mins) clearly showing the condition of the house at the date you acquired it, open blinds, show smoke detectors, show any damages-- anything good or bad.

As Engelo has mentioned before, appraisers tend to ignore the fact that their properties are move-in ready and valued at the high end of the area; and blindly assume that nearby sales for 20k are representative.Regardless, I was able to take the $30k out, acquire another $25k and purchase another property with OCF just a few months later.

Make sure your property is in great shape and maybe add some small landscape or new blinds to keep the property fresh.

If you aren't willing to learn that investment asset, then you can either:1. find someone you trust to help you invest into that asset2. put money in low/no risk investment assets and just accept the low return3. blindly go into an investment asset and basically gamble.
