I do see this as a  nature progression.. wholesaling was a whole lot easier 5 to 7 years ago with the low hanging fruit.. now to me in certain markets not sure why anyone would do it.. got to be pretty tough..

I am a low hanging fruit guy myself, so installing granite in my average rehab is like owning a lamborgini and parking it at your rented studio apartment.

I’ve invested in China and looking to possibly enter Vietnam, although more research is needed as they appear to have some cumbersome laws regarding transferring money back OUT.I love the overall performance I’ve gotten in the US, but I don’t want to have all my eggs in one basket.

These were immediate targets of opportunity that were tied to family (low-hanging fruit). 

Going after the light rehabs (AKA lipstick flips) is low hanging fruit that everyone is fighting over, so there lies your problem.

Using my way I have cashflow and am in better position to capitalize on even cheaper properties than the other guy would with too many eggs in the 401k basket. 

Never put all your eggs in the same basket unless you can afford to lose some, maybe most of them.

A part of me feels like I missed put on opportunities that could have been fruitful with longer hold time.
