I would consider these to be low income areas where many of the properties are run-down; most of the properties are rentals; and many of the people are low life druggies, criminals, and other assorted scumbags.

That would normally be enough to make criminals choose easier pickings at another house.Likewise, I want a multilayered asset protection plan for my rentals.
