If you have an LLC that you use for active REI business such as flipping or wholesaling - that is a different story, such income is considered earned and it subject to self-employment taxes, such LLC will be able to adopt a Solo 401k plan.So if you are eligible for a Solo 401k plan then you can take a personal loan from it, which is limited to $50K or 50% of the balance, whichever is less.Just like with any other service providers I would look to see what other clients are saying about their experience, you want to work with reputable firm who will provide you with the quality service, when you need the help.I'm not sure if your last question makes sense...

Personal friend is a plumber and he uses a system of pressurizing the system and injecting liquid plastic to seal it all up - - 20 year warranttee.Here in our locale, slabs frequently crack due to soil expansion and when fixing one of these, we jack-hammer the interior and r/r all the plumbing at one time.

See the guides under the Education bar above and some of the tools for analyzing property...But as an otr trucker, I would guess getting a property managed probably works better (as you literally are on the other side of the country) unless you have an on call handy man plumber, etc. and some systems in place (lots of ideas on that on BP)..And I would even read up on things like Index funds (read John Bogle's work if you can find it).
