I agree, much to that point, but I was told a long time ago that belly-aching about a problem doesn't do anything without providing a solution to that problem.I'm sure there will be changes to these issues in time. :)

Now that rents are exclusively done ACH and owners are paid that way as well as statements being emailed (or available immediately for preview) it seems rather old school.

I don't know how you all are spending money that needs paper receipts. 99% of my expenditures are either ACH or CC autopay's to utilities, banks or other regular things, or paid by credit card to Lowes or HD who email receipts to my 'landlord' email with the PO (unit or property) I entered at checkout.

@Daniel Hansen, Here's some that a small-time rental portfolio manager has in mind for systems.Rent Collection: Automate through ACH or Direct Deposit, as opposed to drive to the homes and collect rent checksMaintenance: Have a handyman "guy" or a crew that you can text and schedule, as opposed to run around to fix toiletsNeighborhood Watch: Make friends with the neighbors and have them alert you when there's undesirable events etc. going around the propertyProperty Management: If you choose this, have several property managers that you constantly keeping tabs on to help with management.
