Maybe they know someone in City Council and know that area's about to boom, maybe they're terrible at running numbers themselves and don't know they're going to lose money or they don't care....there are just WAY too many possibilities.The bottom line is that it ONLY matters if the numbers work for you.

The City Council has not yet issued the new official rules and regulations for STRs, but the City Planning Commission recommended that they be allowed as long as there is a homestead exemption in place.
