Houses near many driving tourist destinations have done well during the last year, to include our beachside Florida STRs.

We started that before it became known as a popular 4 season destination.

Destin...does. 

If people fly into Spokane airport they would have to rent a car anyways.I would guess that anyone who flies to any destination would most likely have to rent a car so having a car at the home seems superfluous.

The reason is that I work a full time job and I started a family so my priorities changed.There is no single path and there is no single destination.

Some of the areas you mentioned, while resort destinations, also have their struggles with cities cracking down. 

On-site will also be the largest marina in the state of Florida with over 1,000 slips wet/dry.We own the 181 acres of beach and oceanfront views with Gulf of Mexico access and stunning boating destinations nearby. 

What are your thoughts on either of those areas for a vacation rentalThey are very different destinations and markets.

Just my thoughts and my opinion theres no right  or wrong way to get started in real estate as long as you start.The ultimate question is .......Whats your final destination what are you trying to accomplish dont say money because that has no ending :) Thats your end goal. 

@Salvatore DiGiacomoThe panhandle is a great area to invest but areas such as destin Miramar and 30A have gone up in price.
