You're obviously not going to cash flow like say you paid $60k in old Brooklyn ,but you've got a great duplex in a great location that will probably appreciate over the long term and you get to live really cheaply.Although could you explain the $1900 where it comes from?

Hi @Patrick MartoneI am located in Bensonhurst Brooklyn(South Brooklyn).Yes - I live in NYC while maintaining a rental property in Allentown PA.I would prolly suggest looking to invest in Scranton and Stroudsburg if you know those areas better.However, feel free to ask me any questions you have on Allentown.

And also, be sure to set up some Keyword Alerts for some of the topics you are knowledgeable about, or other topics that interest you (like wholesale, Brooklyn, New York, etc ) so you'll be notified that those words were mentioned in the forums and can jump into those conversations!

As a result there is a move even more north in search of affordable housing in an interesting setting.Millennials don't want to live in sprawling suburbs and prefer small picturesque towns and Beacon has some of the same characteristics that made Williamsburg Brooklyn as success.The demographics of Duchess county (where Beacon is located) show an increase in the 20-40 year old population.Please let me know what you think.

The others Parma, Cleveland, Brooklyn etc are not to far apart.
