I'm unsure about going past 20 years and either way intend to acquire real estate and rent it out.

But, I hesitate to use up what we have now on acquiring rentals and not have any left to acquire more or do the occasional flip for capital.So what we were thinking is to reverse that and try to get in on a couple of flip deals first to build up some more operating capital and then start buying rentals with the occasional flip along the way.

But if you are in it for the long term and have the goal of acquiring many of them to produce income, then I think its worth looking into.

Properties get titled in the legal name of the acquiring individual or entity (not in the DBA)... so other than branding, DBAs are of little value in a real estate investment business.
