Most in that price range use 2 inch wood/faux blinds or shutters...IMO , I would include at least on all front windows....in my affordable homes I include mini blinds on all front windows...

I have typically done plain white horizontal mini-blinds, and live with having to replace them every 2 years or so.If pets are allowed, especially dogs, then all blinds are basically need replacing at every turn over.
