Refinished basement with 1 bathroom. 

John Baker 50% is pretty standard for something like cabinet refinishing.

For example, a place has a bad interior paint job, or a bathtub that needs to be refinished.  

One had original hard wood floors I refinished and the other I put vinyl plank in.  

This is based on the buyer fixing up the units and making them pretty ( stainless steel, new kitchens, stone counters, refinish the hardwood floors, paint.)

I am gonna do a whole house remodel new paint, refinish the wood floors, and really focus on the kitchen and bathrooms.

If the hardwood needs refinishing, refinish it.

If you are in a lower rent area, I'd go with laminate (or refinish hardwoods), go with pre-made cabinets from Lowes or Surplus Warehouse, you can do a formica or butcher block countertop and builder grade appliances.

The basement had some un-finished spaces, but most of the basement had just been beautifully re-finished with a mother in law apartment (which I was going to rent out).

The upstairs, all we had to do was paint, refinish the hardwoods, and reno the half bath.
