What is your number that you visualize as financially independent or being able to retire according to my definition of retirement?

If you fail to set your standard in writing (with the rental criteria), verbally (when you meet applicants before they apply) and then visually (when you show the unit) - you are setting yourself up to accept a lower standard applicant.

I am able to see major issues, but I don't take temperature of the cool air coming off the vent, I don't flush every toilet or turn on every faucet, nor do I actually run the dishwasher, or dryer etc...my inspection is visual.
