And really, it might weaken your point if your lease is specific about some things and not others.You're really better off just saying that tenants can't "unreasonably" bother other tenants.And it's important to include the "unreasonably" language, because some tenants will think that any time they hear another tenant, that it's not reasonable.

@Sue Kelly, just for the record, having moved here from the SF Bay Area two years ago into a rental, and having had to deal with a landlord at one point in Mill Valley who did not return my security deposit (I was renting temporarily because I'd had a fire in my own house), I can tell you that PA landlord/tenant law is *very* different from California's.

"Receiving mail" is an invalid argument.I agree with others, that your agreement with them to stay until September 4th, verbal or otherwise, has temporarily invalidated your ability to file for eviction NOW.

Bottom line , shutting the system off and waiting may have temporarily treated a symptom but would not have fixed the problem.
