I am a little disappointed right now because they were recommended by Fortune Builders who I absolutely loved until this point.

I find that it not only sets expectations so that no one is surprised/disappointed/angry if they end up finding out later (which they likely will), and it also saves you the hassle and wasted time of weeding out anyone who has an issue with this (probably a good thing, if they're good tenants they most likely won't care if the owner/landlord is living there too, as long as you're cool ;-) haha).I do know that some folks try to distance themselves and not let their roommates/tenants know that they're the landlord or owner, even so far as having someone else act as property manager for them. 

That is disappointing, but I've heard of this sort of thing happening in other syndications.

We have not been disappointed by the opportunities of living in this area so far, so best of luck!

Appreciation should be the last focus as there are many other ways to make money in RE, banking on appreciation can be disappointing. 

I paid for a year of airdna and was super disappointed with the product in general.

I was kind of disappointed how much it costs to set up an LLC in Texas.  

The government imposed travel restrictions would have us flying into Manila April 1st and being restricted to staying in Manila for the next 14 days.Even the wedding we were planning to attend has had to be postponed due to the local restrictions on large social gatherings.Its disappointing but understandable given the  situation.

The most disappointing was the fact that even after raising some concerns about lack of response and service with the owner (Leah) I never even received as much as a reply from her.After several more attempts I voiced my concern about the response time from confirming my commitment to make an offer (at full asking price with loan pre-approval) and the day that passes before a reply OR a reply a day later that the property is no longer available.Interestingly enough – when I complained about the lack of speedy response – I got a mail back within 15minutes explaining that they have hundreds of different investors, and they are not a typical one-on-one buyer’s agent.The mail ended with a very polite “willingness” to help further but stated that we are probably not a good fit.I got the hint and decided it was indeed time to move on.

One thing I've been disappointed in AirDNA about -the "revenue vs mortgage payment" feature to try and identify best cities is pretty weak.
