While its true that listing agents might look unfavorably upon VA loans because of some of its unique characteristics, I think explaining the agent the benefits you have and why you are submitting a VA offer goes a long way especially if using a local lender as opposed to the USAAs and Navy Feds of the world.Happy belated Veteran's Day!

Second we got started at 23 with nothing other than plans of not being stuck entering a second career when my husband retired from the navy (god and navy willing) in 15 years.While we made mistakes, and had lots of learning experiences in the past 3.5 years we have been very successful 5 houses later.

In the end we  know it will be worth it because we can retire at 42 and 44, when my husband retires from the navy (god and navy willing).
