Advice on splitting private family C-corp

Preferred and common shares seems could be used, transferred with unanimous consent would prevent stock transfers to unwanted stockholders, this can be done in an LLC with members, but not sure of the tax issues, if any, with transfer restrictions in a C corp. ?

You can still manage to use/distribute shares on an LLC and if it's privately done the SEC won't be pounding on your door eitherHope it helpsGarrett

I always say I "want" to lose a few pounds, but I'm too disinterested to do the hard work involved, so I lug some extra weight around (lucky I'm old and married :D).As far as organizing my day and being productive, the best advice I ever heard was spend as much of your time as possible on things that make money and as little as possible on things that don't.
