Tiny homes are still an emerging market in the insurance world but we do have carriers that could accommodate assuming everything was done correctly on your end...

We used to have 10+ options for these homes but are now reduced to 6 or 7 due to carrier insolvencies and tighter underwriting standards.

We have seen rate increases from most of our carriers over the last few years.

My homeowner informed his carrier I would be subleasing and his agent told him he would not be covered if the company found out he was subleasing.

One additional thought - our carrier does do vacant properties.

Use carrier compliant messages or the carriers will flag you.

We do have a pet fee and pet rent for sure, and limit pets to 25 lbs each to avoid our insurance carriers list of disallowed breeds.Also, when I rented I specifically looked for top floor, corner/end units since they are quieter.
