Temporarily renting is just part of our current strategy as it will allow us to renovate our next primary residence before we move in while determining what neighborhood we want to permanently settle in.

Another constant issue that creates more demand is low inventory, artificially and temporarily raising prices too.  

Our downtown is flourishing and a lot of investors have moved here permanently or temporarily to start their investment journey. 

When I say poverty I mean generational poverty, not just being temporarily broke.

The hotel lobbying against STR’s in NYC has weakened as a result of 2020, and NYC may look to relax regs to boost tourism...therefore boost their tax revenues.

If you can't do a minimum of paperwork and keep the money flowing through the proper entity, you will weaken your structure.

If a large company is so large that they control what the market rental rates are they can temporarily lower rents to drive competition out, buy their assets, then raise rents to inefficiently high prices. 

Factor in 42% of jobs projected to be lost permanently (twice the number lost temporarily in 2009), and the fact that small business will be on life support for years (48% of our GDP), and things could get very interesting.

That is using basic math, and although more advanced statistical models would have a range of numbers to include the social distancing variable but that goes to show trying to achieve herd immunity was definitely not on the table, and thus people needed to practice some social distancing and businesses had to temporarily close. 

It turns out, the family is relocating temporarily because the mother has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and they are undergoing clinical trials in the area.
