If I am not mistaken this is a federal law, not local or state. 

I just think that many people who are not well versed in real estate may mistakenly think that if you are licensed that it somehow prevents you from being personally involved it the transaction of the property and expect you to work in their best interest.  

But they are highly mistaken, I know numerous people that were not allowed to get certain jobs, or join special units due to debt that is considered a security issue.When I left Korea I had to terminate my plan with a Korean phone company, but guess who had to pay the other $400 for my sweet new iphone.
