We are always doing work when down there, or updating, cleaning, adding value, decorations, furniture, etc.  

It took me 6 months from closing the deal on a cabin, going through entire renovation, then furnishing the place and decorating to get the first booking.

Cost of furnishings - luckily in our market the majority of properties come fully turnkey meaning, I write my contracts like so: Personal Property included with the sale, any furniture, décor, lamps, kitchen and household wares, linens, electronics, appliances, all patio and deck furniture, fire pits, hot tubs, rugs, currently located at the residence at no additional value.  

Floor and decor has/had a 0.59 laminate product that I haven't tried yet. 

And I'd say I'm good at figuring what layouts and decor would really be best for a space...

I also am coming in to fix and sell a rental and need some contractors to:fix one side of a fencereplace a few engineered hardwood pieces  (I have the pieces)paint the interiorremove, stain and replace some shutters (decorative, not active)restore the outside door handles on the front doorAnyone you've used who you like?

The third year I finished renovations on the other side of the duplex and I made it have a WOW factor with western decor. 

I'd budget $6-$7k per 1 bed unit to furnish and decorate.

They don’t keep commemorative plates and collectible spoons, but they keep clothes, kayaks, bikes, Christmas decorations, old computers, instruments, tools, etc. 

Some PMs will even fund the furnishings and decorate for you.
