Tip 5 Do some research on which banks in your area are real estate investor friendly you want to deal with banks that understand your vision and can help you attain you goals. 

If you can get one great, just don't let tunnel vision set in on them.

I think the vision of success people dream up in their head upon reading success stories may lead to this a little bit.  

Just as a business benefits from defining their Mission, Vision and Values, so does a family.

That said, If I go that route, I have no vision on investing sweat equity; that is, doing the rehab work myself.
