A few weeks ago a gentleman went ballistic (screaming, cursing, etc.) on me to the point where he had to catch his breath.

This obviously doesn't help the person quitting cold turkey, but can be very useful for those trying to quit "the habit" of smoking.I never smoked more than a few a day, but getting rid of the routine (i.e. not smoking in my car) followed by cold turkey after I had quit smoking in certain situations worked for me.By the way, I'm twice the basketball player I used to be since I can now breathe the way I'm supposed to again!

For buy and hold; I don't know.The one thing I think everyone would agree with though, is that eventually, you will have to look at a deal, decide it's worth a try (making a little is better than making nothing), taking a deep breath, and just pulling the trigger.

A hot company can fall out of favor with new technologies etc.The people I know with stocks that do very well eat and breathe the stuff and are experts in it.

Not much at all compared to every day that god has allowed you to continue breathing. 

You are wasting your breath and damaging your relationship with the tenant.

I say this because it can be important to give your tenants some breathing room monthly so they know they have a good deal and will take care of the property and not want to leave.
